Event Technology to help raise funds at an association event.
The CanSPEP Meetings Industry Euchre Tournament is a charity card tournament for event planners that helps raise funds for cancer research.
This charity event app was used before the event to engage attendees and share event information. Attendees were asked to share “Who are YOU playing for?”. This was accomplished by posting stories in the app’s Activity Feed, about how cancer affected their lives. This helped attendees connect with one another in advance, and to increase the association’s event app usage.
Gamification in the charity event app was used onsite to encourage attendees to visit sponsor tables to get answers to trivia questions.
