Mobile Conference App with Gamefication Improves Engagem ent
The Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners (CanSPEP) is a society of Independent Event Professionals with a leading national voice in the event industry. The Entrepreneurial Conference’s primary goal is to promote professionalism and create awareness of the many skills that independent meeting planners need to have.
Gamification features in the mobile conference app helped the event planners engage attendees by having them participate in an “Amazing Race” that had attendees locate codes to input into the event app in exchange for points.
The Activity Feed also provided attendees with a social feed for the event that allowed them to share content with one another.
