Event App and digitalization on the meetings industry
MICE Club is one of the leading event industry networks in Germany, offering a wide range of discounts, resources and networking opportunities to both planners and suppliers. Their annual workshop event, MICE Club LIVE, took place in Munich in 2017.
The motto was “Future Trends” and aimed to create discussion around the effects of digitalization on the meetings industry. Diverse and highly skilled participants, creative locations and interactive components made the conference refreshing and inspiring.
The event app offered information about venues, travel logistics, and the agenda prior to the live event. Push notifications were used to guide attendees through the event and kept them informed about shuttle bus times. A particular highlight was the MICE Club Challenge. Attendees could gather points by networking with each other, exploring the locations, and participating in group tasks. The event game ensured that attendees were engaged and sparked friendly competition.
